  • Friday, January 2nd: All ECT families should have recently received a Medical Consent Agreement form for the trip in the mail. Please fill out the form and have your student return it to the Townsend Office next week when we return to school and they will get the form to me. If you as an adult are attending the ECT as a chaperone, we need you to fill out a form for yourself as well. In order to select roommates for the trip in a few weeks, I must have your student's completed Medical Consent form. A reminder that all remaining trip balances must be paid by January 18, 2026.

Wednesday, December 17th: There will be a lot of information and several meetings in January - March as we approach the trip. We will be having a student meeting the week on January 19, 2026 once the final payments for the trip are completed on 1/18/26. Students will be selecting their roommates at this time, more info to come. Grade checks will be made with students and review of Trimester 2, 6-week progress report grades for continued eligibility upon our return in January.  It is critical that students continue to remain eligible for the trip in 3 categories: Attendance, Grades - 2.0+ GPA, and Behavior.

Monday, November 3rd: Student Meeting on Thursday, November 6th at 8:30am-9:00am in the Media Center for a trip update. Please make arrangements to arrive on time if you take the bus.

Wednesday, October 15th: We were able to offer 20 additional spots for all those on the 'waitlist' to join the 'active' list, allowing all our interested students to be a part of this amazing trip. We currently have about 5 spots still open if you know any students or parents who would like to join us on the trip. Deadline is Friday, October 31st

Tuesday, August 19th at 6:00 p.m.: Last Parent Information Meeting (for those unable to attend the first meeting)

Thursday, August 14th at 8:30 a.m.: MANDATORY student meeting in Mrs. Valleroy's classroom, Room 506. Students who have not turned in the East Coast Trip Behavior Contracts MUST bring them completed to the meeting. Pick up a contract ahead of the meeting from the office or Mrs. Valleroy's class.

July 6th, 2025: Please ensure your student has joined the ECT student Google Classroom. The ECT student contracts are available in GCR if your student still needs to fill those out. They can be turned back into the school office in the third week in July when the office reopens. A Broadway Show interest survey is also available in GCR for your student to fill out, what show are they hoping we get to see during our trip to NYC?

We are currently at capacity and a participant 'waitlist' has been started. If your student has a friend they are hoping will be their roommate, the time to register is now in order to secure a 'waitlist' spot on the trip. Participants on the 'waitlist' often move onto active status before the trip as other participants currently 'active' may drop from the trip for various reasons.  At this time the trip price has now increased slightly for those registering after July 1st. Please contact Ms. Valleroy with any questions.
