Robert O. Townsend Junior High

Behavior Counseling (MTSS-B)

My name is Mrs. Wiltbanks.

I am the MTSS-B Intervention Counselor.

I received my undergrad from Cal State Long Beach University with a degree in Communication Studies. I then earned my Master's in Counseling and Guidance from New York University, accompanied by my PPS credential and the National Certified Counselor Certification.

My professional journey began as a DIS counselor under SPED and a social-emotional learning counselor for General Education students at a Dual Language program in Los Angeles, California, where I served for four years.

I am a forever learner dedicated to creating an inclusive, equitable, culturally competent, and supportive environment that enriches our school and uplifts students in their academic and social-emotional journey. I believe in fostering an atmosphere where students feel safe, respected, and responsible as they learn skills they can use beyond their K-12 career.
